I'm curious: how complicated is your beauty routine? Lately, my process is relatively streamlined. Not because I like it that way; my skin just doesn't have a lot to choose from. If it were up to me I would have 17 steps if I knew it'd make my skin better! :)
For body care, here are the products that have made the short list lately...
My Body Care Line Up
- Attitude Sensitive Skin Body Lotion - I don´t know about you, but it is really hard to find body lotion that is both friendly to sensitive skin and is made with truly family-safe ingredients. Attitude is a brand that really meets both needs with its Sensitive Skin collection. For an everyday light lotion, this is my go-to. Although I do wish I could use it on my face too, like Vanicream's products, I'll take what I can get! If you need something more moisturizing, Attitude also has a body cream and hand cream that I haven't tried yet, but that look promising.
- Vanicream Moisturizing Cream - I've tried a bunch of creams, but I just keep coming back to this one. Not only can it be used anywhere on my body (yes, even my face), it's kid safe too. Especially these days during the endless handwashing of the COVID-19 pandemic, I love how moisturizing, yet relatively quick-drying it is. I wish it wasn't petroleum-based, but I'm yet to find anything that can beat it.
- Beautycounter Baby Soothing Oil - What I enjoy about this product is not only that the ingredients are have a great safety rating and well-sourced, but it's a multi-purpose workhorse. Body oil, face oil, makeup remover...the list goes on.
So what about you? Are there any fragrance-free sensitive skin products you love?
Disclaimer: I not a dermatologist or skin expert. I'm just a consumer that likes to share what has worked for me. Every person is different, however, and should follow proper patch testing protocol with new skincare products. I find The Ordinary's Patch Testing Guide helpful.
